  28. This song was written, performed and produced over a 56-hours
  29. almost non-stop working session (I just took time out to eat,
  30. shower and a few hours sleep), from the 6th till the 8th of
  31. September, 1997.

  33. This song will be part of my next CD album "Wizard of the
  34. Winds", to be released on the Cyclops/GFT label in March 1998.
  35. The album will be based on the fantasy novel "Wizard of the
  36. Winds" by Allan Cole.  (In the UK, the book is titled "When the
  37. Gods Slept"). I'm writing pieces of music inspired by the
  38. different places, characters and happenings in the book. The
  39. Forbidden Desert is a vast desert that separates the humans from
  40. the demons. Long ago, the king of kings, Alisarrian, cast a
  41. spell over the Forbidden Desert, making it impossible to cross
  42. for humans and demons alike, so that there would be no trouble
  43. and warfare between the two races. This song is about the
  44. Forbidden Desert itself, as well as the demon Sarn and his
  45. success in defying the ancient spell and crossing the desert
  46. that had not been crossed for hundreds of years.
